In the paper industry, high-precision position synchronization control is often required, especially for paper cutters. In the case of extremely high position accuracy, the speed control of ordinary frequency converters can hardly meet the requirements. 2. A brief introduction to the paper cutter


In the past, the working principle of the old-fashioned paper cutter was simple. It was only driven by an asynchronous motor, and a reducer was used to drag the feed and cutter. The length of the paper was changed by adjusting the cutter reduction ratio. The application of this method is very simple, but the error of the cut paper is relatively large, resulting in poor product consistency, and the length of each cut paper is manually adjusted, which is time-consuming. The principle of servo control is actually driven by a servo motor. Since the servo motor can calculate the detailed number of rotations, the distance of movement can be calculated. Inside the control cabinet of the paper cutter is a servo driver and a moving substrate, which are used to control the movement of the servo motor and calculate the relative position. The servo drive receives the pulse command from the host computer to drive the motor head to do the positioning. During the positioning, the movement requires smooth and stableinterface. The speed of the servo determines whether the working efficiency of the paper cutter can meet the requirements of the customer. During high-speed positioning, the servo motor cannot overshoot, oscillate, or set for too long.

 

3. Conclusions

 

Hangzhou Zhishan servo system is applied in several paper cutter manufacturers in Zhejiang. The servo debugging is convenient, and the effect is not worse than the overseas servo. Therefore, it has achieved a good reputation among customers and helped them save costs.
